SQL Database Engineer

D A LABS is currently looking for a talented SQL database engineer. As a SQLserver engineer with D A LABS a candidate would be responsible for day to day maintenance of SQL instance deployed internally and within our customers enclaves. Beyond the day to day duties as a SQL engineer a candidate will be required to facilitate archival of all data stores.

The job site is 2101 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA. This DBA position requires 2 years specialized network IT experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Two years + experience with SQL server administration
Experience with active active SQLserver clustering
Extensive experience with SQLserver patching
Understanding of underlying storage technologies (SAN/RAID/LUN)
Ability to work independently
Capable of taking responsibility for database without hand holding
Ability to work with systems team to setup monitors for database
Capable of ensuring backups are configured, completed and tested
